Youth Gaming Camps at Game oN feel a lot like the summer camps we wished we had growing up - only now we get to build them. Picture a week where kids rotate between gaming stations, VR adventures, friendly competitions, and hands-on tech time, surrounded by other young players who are just as excited to be here.
We balance pure fun with real learning. Mornings might kick off with group challenges on consoles or high-performance PCs - squads working together, sharing roles, and talking through strategy instead of just mashing buttons. After a snack break, we shift gears into tech: exploring what makes a gaming system fast, how to stay safe online, or what esports actually is and how teams operate.
One of my favorite camp moments each year is watching the shy kid from day one become the team shot-caller by the end of the week. It happens because we build in activities that reward communication, leadership, and sportsmanship, not just high scores. When someone tilts or gets frustrated, we pause, reset, and use it as a chance to talk about mindset - something parents regularly thank us for.
We keep groups small so every camper gets attention, and staff stay right in the mix to guide gameplay, answer tech questions, and make sure everyone feels included. There's plenty of variety: console matches, PC play, VR experiences, and sometimes mini-showcase matches on the last day so families can see what their kids have learned.
